The Local Food Experience - Saturday only
This is our most popular premier Food Experience and happens on a Saturday only.
We have 2 options. Option One: includes visiting our famous local Matakana Village Farmers' Market and tasting, collecting and learning more about our local food under Chef's expert guidance then returning to TLFK to cook with Chef and dine. Option Two: includes visiting our famous local Matakana Village Farmers' Market and tasting, collecting and learning more about our local food under Chef's expert guidance followed by a tour of local food producers a wine tasting and a light lunch. Come to The Local Food Kitchen for a unique food experience, enjoy your own private evening in our adjoining newly refurbished dining room. Chef will create a special meal for you and your friends, and if you want to be involved in creating the meal, get into the kitchen with Chef. We also offer off-site private Chef services. This series of hands-on cooking classes are designed for those individuals who are interested in honing up on some fundamental cooking skills - and are happy to join in with a group of other like-minded foodies. We have a collection of Food producers whose products we love to use in our cookery classes, and events as they are superb - the best in their league - there is no other way to describe them really.
