For any group of friends / family / colleagues / book clubs / family groups / hen parties / sports clubs etc.. wishing for a "hands-on" cooking experience. Bring your group and join us at The Local Food Kitchen for a new and fun way of getting together (while eating together at the same time !) 
We offer classes which will cater for all levels of expertise and confidence and our focus is on using the freshest seasonal produce and products available from our local Matakana producers.
The small hands on class size (minimum 4, maximum 8) will guarantee you get plenty of Chef’s attention.

Regional Flavours
4 hours, can include a restaurant quality 3 course meal served in our private dining room.
Absolutely Asian, Viva Italia, French Bistro, Great British, Indian Aroma.
Cost - $140 pp
Technical Classes
3 hours, upskilling in a specific technique such as:
butchery, patisserie, bread-making or chocolate to name a few.
Cost - $120 pp
Just For Fun!
3 hours. Come in to our kitchen and just have fun! Devise a theme and have chef help cook for your group. Learn something new or just watch Chef in action, our beautiful purpose built kitchen is set up to create wonderful dishes just for you.

Full Day Local Food Experience  (COOKING OPTION)
6 hours, includes morning tea, a visit to the local Farmer's Market or on-site tasting of local food products, followed by a hands-on cooking experience under Chef's guidance preparing a restaurant quality 3 course meal with wine match, recipes and a goody bag to take home.
