TLFK offers; unique local food experiences which include a guided visit to the renown Matakana Village Farmer's Market followed by a small group cookery class ,bespoke food tours, private Chef in-house dining in our newly refurbished private dining room, off-site private Chef services, corporate / team building fun food challenges, cooking classes for groups, private drop-off gourmet catering upon request and also an incubator kitchen for local foodies to get their products underway.

Bringing The Local Food Kitchen to Matakana, in such an idyllic countryside setting, is the start of realising my dream of creating a Matakana Local Food Kitchen to promote our own fabulous local fare. TLFK enables me to share with others the spectacular tastes and flavours of our locally grown produce, the opportunity to hear the stories of those who have grown or produced them with such passion and also the joy in creating wonderful dishes using such quality seasonal ingredients.
